PROPHETIC PRAISE

Prophetic praise is an usual, uncommon kind of praise which only those who know their God can understand. It is foolishness to those who don’t understand the era we are, now is an era of the prophetic. God is moving in this end time prophetically, revealing his will and mind to his prophet which will bring the reformation Christendom desperately need. Unfortunately not everyone will get it or believe things that are not, as if they were. Let see some examples, what is the relationship between war and selected choristers standing face to face with their enemies singing? What of the wall of Jericho (temptations, tribulation, trials, setback, delay etc), what is blowing of trumpet, shouting and singing get to do with the wall of obstacle? May be you can tell me the agreement that exist between a bound person (Paul and his friend in prison) with singing. These were not mere people they understood and totally believed in God and his words. How many of us will do likewise. Beloved, whatever you are going through will not kill you if only you know who God is and what he can do. If you do, please relax for everything is working together for your good lift up your hand and heart in praise don’t ask him anything, just thank him for what he has done. Believe me he will cause it to happen more than you’ve asked, think or imagine. PROPHET PRISE is our touring program, whereby we move from one state to the other in Nigeria prophesying into the life of every indigene and non-indigene residing in the state. We carry out some prophetic action as the Holy Spirit will give directive, speaking the word of prophecy into every local government area in the state. By God grace we will be visiting Akwa Ibom State, Rivers State and Abia State come the year 2011. You can be part of this move in any capacity you deem fit.

Sacred Media: As the visionary, what is the vision of GMMN?

Minister Joshua Bassey: The vision of Gospel Music Ministers Network is to bring sanity, direction, knowledge and total reformation to gospel music ministers and ministries in Calabar as the starting point, in Nigeria, in Africa, and the world at large. She will function as a body through different part. Errors and blunders have committed, ministers have been blackmailed with the crime committed by the so called ‘gospel musicians’. It is time to draw a line between gospel music and secular music.

Minister Joshua Bassey: The door is not open to gospel music ministers yet, until the foundational stage is over. But not withstanding, these are the names of those who are actively working on the structure; Pastor Jonnie Akpanke, Pastor Victor Edet, Pastor Umon, Minister Jonny Godswill, Minister Ifiok Ebong, Mininster, Otobong Ekpenyong, Minister Godswill Daniel, Minister Zeal, Minister Bassey Orok, Minister Edu Ubi and Minister Ruth Asi.

Sacred Media: Brief the world about the impact of the first conference?

Minister Joshua Bassey: The conference which was tagged ‘The Business In Gospel Music’ took place at the summez hall on the 5^th of march, 2010, featured different music producers, music marketers, and gospel music ministers in and out of the state. The conference speaker was Rev. Frank Opunye, Pastor Toney Raphael, exploits on the re-branding/repackaging yourself for success while Mr. baseone, educated us on topic “you and your producer” the conference was a eye opener to all the participant, they couldn’t stop calling, finding out when then next conference will be coming up. Let me use this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all the ministers that devoted their time, ideal and resources to the success of the conference. Sacred media: what should be the qualification of any intending member? Any intending member of GMMN must be an active in his/her local church, must be loyal to his/her local church authority and should be under a ministry that is a member of CAN/PFN/CPFN. This is the principal qualification.

SACRED MUSIC INTERNATIONAL

By definition sacred means consecrated, dedicated, separated, inviolable or appropriated to some purpose. Therefore sacred music international is a non-denominational, non-governmental music ministry, inviolable consecrated and appropriated to bring back God’s initial purpose of creating man which was for intimacy (worship) and dominion over all things created by him. This purpose is extended to the raising of prophetic minister and the reforming of the desolated vessels for the end time global mandate. This unique mandate is born out from the gospel according to Saint John chapter 4 vs 21-24 which says thus,

Jesus said unto her, woman, believes me. The hour cometh, when ye shall no worship in this mountain, nor Jerusalem, to worship the father, ye worship ye know not what, we know what we worship, salvation is of the Jew, but the hour cometh, and now is when the true worshiper shall worship the father in spirit and in truth; for the father seeketh such to worship him. God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The creator of the universe is searching for remnant, vessel that are ready to seek His face in true spiritual worship for him to entrust the end time undiluted message in their heart which will empower them to speak his mind and implement his will, for the time is short and we are in the last hour. In a jive, there will be a great global reformation in the body of Christ and God is preparing men and women that will bring this reformation. We are highly privileged to be set aside for this great mandate, in we have embraced wholeheartedly for the past five years and with God on our side we will not give up, until we accomplish this mandate. Sacred music international is sub-divided into four departments for proper preparation and implementation of this mandate. This department includes in His Sanctuary Choir, The Royal Theater, The Peculiar Crew and Sacred Media. She also has a branch in Lagos State and currently working toward establishing branches in Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Abia State. This outstanding ministry head quarter is presently located in Cross River State, Calabar the nation’s paradise and West Africa’s gateway to Christianity. It may surprise you to know that SMI is made up of 100 percent youth in which 80% are student while 20% are either graduate or workers. It is with these vessels that God has brought healing, deliverance, breakthrough and blessing to his people within and out of the state; with a handful of partners “For God gave the word and great were the companies that publish it”. HARVEST OF PRAISE

This is synonym of HOP, mean the evidence of praise. So many a times we have filed to expect and observe the result from a heart pouring praise, this is as a result of the wrong motive and lack of understanding of what we are doing. We do it for fun or as a religious activities; because of this most people have not harvested the fruits of praising God. Harvest of Praise (HOP) is a program organized by IN HIS SANCTUARY MASS CHOIR in Cross River State. The last HOP was held in the University of Calabar, Calabar, it was a night of personal encounter with God through the Holy Spirit and great impartation for exploit. We are passionate about this and are out to do all we can as the Holy Spirit gives us directive in redeeming the year.

GRATITUDE

It was on the 2^nd of June 2006 that God revealed his will to me through a dream. On the faithful night, the Holy Spirit took me into my future which has been predestined for me. I was ministering alongside a mass choir where the lord did awesome miracle when I woke up, the holy spirit ministered to me about the ten leapers that where healed but only one returned to show GRATITUDE. I didn’t understand, but for more than three months he used many means to enlighten me about GRATITUDE. Within this period, whatever music, message or book that comes my way will explain gratitude in a way. It got worse when whomever I discussed with, will end up speaking about gratitude and the need for reformation. To years after the confirmation of the dream, it (gratitude) has become a yearly event and has been hosted thrice (2008, 2009 and 2010) in cross river state calabar.

Badly, 80 percent of the world’s population is guilty of ingratitude, we forget that whatever we don’t recognize can’t be celebrated and if we can’t celebrate then there wouldn’t be any reward. You can see it all begun from negligence, lack of knowledge and proper information of what we possess, if you don’t think you will not thank. The ratio of gratitude to ingratitude is 1:5, whenever we need something we will fast and pray for days with all our heart, body and soul we even cry to show that we seriously need it but what happens after wee must have gotten it we hardly use 30 min. to praise/thank the giver and sustainer of life. We fail to know that to be ungrateful is to be grounded. When we stop appreciating God we automatically start depreciating for God inhabits (live, work, blesses, and delivers) in the praises of His people. There re some set of people that dwell in complains, they are not satisfied they complain about sex, size, complexion, height etc they don’t know that whatever thing they complain about tarps them. For every creature, of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanks giving (1 Tim 4vs4). You were created just the way you are, divinely to aid the purpose of your living for in everything we should learn how to give thanks because it is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 thes 5:8). If you don’t have what you like then love what you have. When we stop murmuring, accomplishment begins and when complaining stops triumph begins. Form grateful comes graceful. Beloved it is time we start having 30 days heart lifted praise, you can observe in most our churches, time slated for praise and worship has been reduced to 10-15 minute at most 20 minute. If only the table can be turned around, things we fast and pray days for will happen in a jive. Conclusively God our creator created us in his likeness and image. So if we feel, he does too. Just as we feel whenever someone appreciates us, like wise God. Whenever we show gratitude from our heart he his moved. If you’ve heard this words then harden your heart for it is time to be grateful.
